Impact of Technology on Education

               

    


                                  Technology is very important in education because it aids the teaching process of a teacher. It helps the teacher's to develop her teaching strategy towards a better learning of her students. A teacher can use ppt. during her discussions or even movie maker presentation that can be found in the computer and he/she can use the LCD projector to project the content of her/his lessons. She/he can also use O.H.P and opaque in teaching and these are part of technology. If you are a student, it makes your life easy especially when you have projects and assignments. You can make your projects easily, or you can share your thoughts or ideas with everyone using technology. Even if technology can aid the teaching-learning process, we shouldn't forget the basic. After a long period of time, they will find it boring because there is no interaction at all during the discussion or they are tired looking at the projector and there is a tendency that they  will not listen at all. However, using technology is difficult to handle. They said that it lessens your time in preparing the visual aid but for me it takes time because you need to decide and prepare what's the best feature that you should used. I can't say that technology is not good because it aids the teaching strategy of the teacher and it helps the learner to explore knowledge or ideas through technology. Indeed, there is great impact of technology on education but we should not forget the teacher, the books, the pens, & the papers because they are the reason why we think, makes us more creative and makes us curious.
